
Dr. Narinder Pal Singh is a distinguished physician–academic with over 35 years of leadership experience in internal medicine, nephrology, public health research, medical education, and healthcare administration. He is renowned for contributions to community nephrology, hypertension, renal epidemiology, and global health research, with extensive involvement in Global Burden of Disease (GBD) collaborations, national policy advisory roles, and academic capacity building across India.

Throughout his career, he has chaired Institutional Ethics Committees, overseen safety monitoring and SAE review, and led clinical drug trials across chronic kidney disease, renal anemia, and cardiovascular therapeutics. Dr. Singh is a collaborator with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), University of Washington, on the Global Burden of Disease program and has been a National Coordinator for NBE–DNB General Medicine, MRCP(UK) PACES Examiner, and Principal Investigator on multiple ICMR, UGC, and DST research projects. With over 210 publications, 41 book chapters, 8 edited books, and supervision of more than 100 postgraduate theses, he brings deep academic and clinical expertise to safety governance and benefit–risk evaluation.
